Our cattle are more than livestock to be raised and sold for a profit. They are incredible assets to our farm. Calling them: "grass-fed" does not do them justice. Our cattle graze and bronze on a natural salad bar of hundreds of grasses, forbs, and trees. Their interaction with the plants and soil while grazing does incredible things to regenerate the soil and the ecosystem. Cattle will be our muscle and do the heavy lifting on our Regenerative farming journey.
Herd Share
How does it work
Herd shares at RoseShell Farms are about making quality, healthy beef more accessible to our customers by giving you the option to make payments.
The average family of four eats the equivalent of one whole beef every year. From fast food to Taco Tuesday to weekend cookouts or even homemade favorites. The cost of buying beef over the year can add up. Buying it little by little, the extra cost goes unnoticed.
Buying beef directly from a farm is a big investment all at once and can be difficult to budget for. But pound for pound it can save you a lot of money compared to store-bought and especially fast food prices. Our herd share program is here to help.
Buying a herd share means you purchase an actual share of the RoseShell Farms beef herd. We work with our customers to develop a plan that fits their budget.
In our herd share, you make one purchase for the animal, then recurring payments to pay for boarding and care until the animal is ready for processing.
We will customize a payment plan based on your budget and the animals we have available.
